Ocuco is a dynamic, expanding, 16 year old Irish-owned, Software Company with headquarters in Blanchardstown, Dublin, from where our engineers develop, sell and support our main branded practice management software product Acuitas, which is marketed to the optics market worldwide We are now seeking technically gifted graduates with an IT related degree to work as Installation, Training & Support Engineers in our Operations team.

Work responsibilities could include:

• Direct on-site training of our customers in locations across Europe (especially Italy) and the Americas. This will involve frequent travel & some weekend work.
• Installing our software in customer's sites.
• Providing technical support to our installed customer base.

These positions are a great entryway into a software company where energy and talent are rewarded with swift advancement.

The successful candidate must have:

• Degree / Diploma / MA in IT / Computers or equivalent.
• Perfect fluency in English
• Ability to acquire new technical information quickly
• "No problem", "Can do" attitude that always gets the job done
• Full clean driving licence

The ideal candidate will also:

• be fluent in another major European language
• have excellent communication skills
• show attention to detail and perfectionist instincts that get the job done right, first time
• enjoy a high intensity, high energy work environment and contribute to same
• have experience in Multimedia Design / Technical Writing Ability.

• Some commercial experience (ideally developing Microsoft Windows native applications
• Experience of database technologies - Oracle databases would be a distinct advantage
• Demonstrable skills in problem solving and trouble shooting
• Ambitious, self-starter, looking for opportunities to expand in an exciting and growing international company
• Fluent English (and ideally fluency in another major European language)
• Knowledge / experience in Delphi would be an advantage
